Afrobeat musician, Seun Kuti, is to appear at the Yaba Magistrate’s Court today for the proceeding which was adjourned on Tuesday.
Seun Kuti who regained his freedom on Tuesday after about eight days in detention.
The purpose of the proceeding, it was gathered, was to receive the Director of Public Prosecution (DPP)’s advice.
The police in Lagos State charged the musician to court for slapping a policeman in uniform.
Seun had, in a video, accused the policeman of bashing his car hence the assault.
Seun Kuti was said to have violated Section Section 356 of the Nigerian Criminal Code Act, by his action.
