The remains of the former Chief of Defence Staff, CDS, Air Chief Marshal Alex Badeh (retd), will be interred on January 23 at the National Military Cemetry in Abuja.
Badeh was shot dead on December 18, 2018, along Keffi-Abuja highway when he was returning from his farm.
The Acting Director Defence Information, DDI, Brig.-Gen John Agim, announced the burial date in a statement he issued on Friday.
He stated that the burial of the remains would take place after a church service at the Nigerian Airforce Base, Protestant Church, Bill Clinton Drive, Airport Road at 10 a. m.
According to him, a service of song will hold on Sunday at the chuch.
