President Muhammadu Buhari has declared that all resources at the disposal of his government would be deployed to ensure that killers of former Special Adviser on Political Matters to former President Goodluck Jonathan, Ahmed Gulak, are brought to justice.
Gulak was killed on Sunday in Owerri, Imo State, by yet to be identified gunmen.
Buhari made the declaration in a statement issued by his media aide, Mallam Garba Shehu, on Sunday.
“Let me warn however that nobody or group of people who engages in such despicable acts should expect to go free. We will deploy all resources at our disposal to ensure that such callous and criminal elements are brought to justice,” the president was quoted as having said.
The president who condemned the “the heinous murder of Adamawa politician” expressed his “deep condolences to the family of the deceased, the people and government of Adamawa State as well as his friends and associates all over the country.
