The Super Eagles of Nigeria and Bafana Bafana of South Africa will clash on Wednesday at the quarter finals stage of the ongoing African Nations Cup, AFCON, in Egypt.
The South African team qualified to meet the Super Eagles having defeated the host country, Egypt in the Round of 16 clash, on Saturday.
Bafana Bafana defeated Egypt by a lone goal scored by Thembinkosi Lorch.
Earlier, the Super Eagles defeated their Cameroonian counterparts, the Indomitable Lions by 3 – 2.
With the victory on Saturday, Nigeria moved to the quarter finals stage of the competition which has now made a clash with Bafana Bafana on Wednesday possible.
Odion Ighalo and Alex Iwobi scored the goals for the Super Eagles in the encounter with the Indomitable Lions.
