Adeniran Adedokun will on Monday participate in Book Trek, where he will read from his new book, The danfo driver in all of us.
Book trek is the opening event of the Lagos Book and Arts Festival which holds at Freedom Park, Lagos at 5 p.m.
Adedokun is the author of Ladies Calling The Shots which profiles leading female film makers in Nigeria.
Adedokun’s new book is a 250-page collection of articles he wrote on different news platforms including The Punch newspapers, The Cable and Premium Times.
In the articles, he reflects on different aspects of life in the country in the past six years.
“This collection of essays is a testimony to the author’s passion for change in the country,” said Mr. Gbemiga Ogunleye who is the Provost of the Nigerian Institute of Journalism and former Editor of The Punch, in a foreword to the book by Adedokun.
