The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has charged members of the church to pray for the release of five of the church’s pastors kidnapped.
Adeboye made the charge on Friday while announcing the incident at the Redeemed Camp along Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
He said it was the first time such an incident had happened.
He narrated that the pastors were on their way to attend the church’s ministers’ conference in Lagos when they were abducted.
According to him, the abduction was carried out on Thursday along Ijebu-Ode axis.
He expressed sadness over the incident.
His words: “As a father, how do you think I should feel to hear that five of my children have been kidnapped while on their way to attend the Ministers Conference?”
