The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, can now go ahead with the supplementary election Adamawa State.
This follows the removal of the order restraining INEC from conducting the election by a Yola High Court in Adamawa State.
Earlier, an order was obtained by the governorship candidate of the Movement For Restoration and Defense for Democracy, MRDD, Mustafa Shaba.
Shaba had complained that INEC did not include the logo of his party on the ballot paper of the election held on March 9.
The election was declared inconclusive and a supplementary scheduled to hold on March 23 before it was stopped by the court.
But in its ruling on Tuesday, the High Court in Yola, Adamawa State, headed by Abdulazeez Waziri said INEC could go ahead with the election.
The case has been adjourned till Wednesday, March 27 for further hearing.
It would be recalled that the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, candidate, Ahmadu Fintiri, was leading in the election which was declared inconclusive.
The incumbent governor of the state, Jibrilla Bindow, of the All Progressives Congress, APC, was next.
The election was declared inconclusive because, according to the Returnng Officer, Andrew Haruna, the difference between the votes of the two leading contestants were not as many as those voided in some polling units in the state.
He said while 40, 988 votes were cancelled in 44 polling units in the state, the difference of votes between the two parties was 32, 476.
