Abia State governor, Okezie Ikpeazu, has suspended his Chief of Staff, Dr. Anthony Agbazuere, with immediate effect.
The suspension was announced on Sunday in Umuahia by the Secretary to the State Government, Mr Chris Ezem.
He said the Permanent Secretary, Government House, Mr Alozie Odoemelam, would perform Agbazuere’s duties till further notice.
Agbazuere was appointed as the Chief of Staff to the Governor on November 5, 2019.
The suspension is believed to be in connection with a trending video showing Agbazuere spraying money on controversial Onitsha-based clergyman, Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere.
