MAPOLY congratulates alumna, Madein, on appointment as AGF

Authorities of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, MAPOLY, Abeokuta, Ogun State, have expressed warm felicitation to a former student, Dr. (Mrs.) Oluwatoyin Sakirat Madein, on her appointment as the Accountant General of the Federation.

Madein was among the first generation of students admitted into the Accountancy department in 1982 and graduated with Higher National Diploma in 1988.

According to the Head, Public Relations and Protocol, MAPOLY, Mr. ‘Yemi Ajibola, the duo of the Rector, Dr. Adeoye Odedeji, and the Bursar Mr Fatai Yekinni, were in the office of the Accountant-General of the Federation to deliver the congratulatory letter on behalf of the polytechnic.

The congratulatory letter signed by the Rector, Dr Adeoye Odedeji, described her appointment as “a testimony to hard work, faithfulness, contentment and integrity which is the core values of the profession which you chose to study when you applied as student of Ogun State Polytechnic (now Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta).”

The letter further reads: “Your tenacity to uphold the qualities of a good upbringing, not only to promote where you are coming from but to protect and project your source, which has distinguished you and has written your name in gold”.

The authorities further described her as a worthy ambassador of the polytechnic and a good reference to the upcoming generation.

The authorities concluded with a prayer on behalf of the Governing Council, Management, Staff and Students of the Polytechnic that, Almighty God would grant Dr. Madein the needed wisdom and divine health to handle the task ahead.

The AGF was grateful to receive the Rector, Dr Adeoye Odedeji and the Bursar, Mr Fatai Yekini, in her office with a compliment from her alma mater.
