Displeased with the judgement of the Appeal Court which gave its verdict on Thursday, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, governorship candidate in 2018 Ekiti State governorship election, Olusola Kolapo, has declared that he will head to the Supreme Court.

Kolapo had challenged the victory of Governor Kayode Fayemi of the All Progressives Congress, APC, at the Appeal Court after losing at the tribunal set up to hear cases over the election.

But on Thursday, the Appeal Court agreed with the tribunal which had earlier dismissed the case.

Expressing regret over the verdict, Kolapo vowed to go to the Supreme Court.

He said his lawyers would study the judgement and proceed.

He appealed to his supporter to be prayerful saying that it was not the end of the case.

“Let us remain prayerful, it is not over until it’s over. I have hope in the judiciary and I strongly believe that in the end, justice will be served,” he said.
