Vice president and presidential aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, will today host senators of his party to iftar (dinner).
The iftar is scheduled for 6.30 p.m.
A letter of invitation has been sent to the Senate Caucus of the APC to that effect.
The notice was read by the Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, at the start of plenary today.
The letter was signed by the Senate Leader, Yahaya Abdullahi.
The venue of the iftar is Aguda House, Aso Rock Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The iftar is apparently in continuation of his campaign for the post of the president in 2023.
Osinbajo on Monday made a public declaration of his ambition to become the next president in 2023.
In the broadcast made available via various social media platforms, he gave different reasons for his decision and promised to make Nigeria a better place.
