A dislodged prospective corps member, Awotedun, Temitope Eniola, was delivered of a baby girl at the General Hospital, Ikare, Ondo State, after completing her registration formalities on Tuesday.
Elated, the Ondo State co-ordinator of the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, Mrs. Victoria Nnenna Ani, thanked God for the precious gift of the baby girl to the NYSC family.
The state coordinator equally appreciated the hospital for rising up to the occasion.
Ani said the arrival of new born baby attracted much blessings and hoped that the coming of little ‘Victoria’ as NYSC named the girl after her, (the coordinator) would surely bring much anticipated blessings to the scheme in Ondo State.
The NYSC boss presented baby gifts and other materials the mother.
In her short message of congratulations to the prospective corps member, the Camp Director, Mrs. Itohan Ehimwenma, expressed joy that God had never forsaken NYSC Ondo State with pleasant surprises.
Ehimwenma noted that the secretariat had not witnessed such delivery in recent past and prayed that the promise of God shall be fulfilled in the life of the family of the prospective corps member.
“There shall be a shower of blessing, this is the promise of love” she sang.
The new mother thanked the NYSC for being there for her family.
