The daily number of coronavirus cases in Nigeria continued to rise with the latest being 1,074 on Friday.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, made this known on its Twitter handle.
The new number of cases increased the total in the country to 88,587.
Lagos continued to maintain its lead on the table with 642 new cases.
