Nigeria on Tuesday recorded 999 new cases of coronavirus, bringing the total to 79,789.
The figures were released by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, on its Twitter handle.
The Federal Capital Territory, FCT, has the highest figure of 416 while Lagos has 324.
