Nigeria, on Friday, recorded 188 new cases of coronavirus, increasing the total figure to 56,017.
The figures were released by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, on its Twitter handle.
Lagos has the highest figure of 47 cases followed by Enugu with 25.
