Nigeria has recorded 124 new cases of coronavirus, as the total figure increases to 54,587.
The figures are as released by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, on its Twitter handle.
The NCDC had earlier released 125 as the total figure released on Wednesday but later changed it to 124 explaining that a case was recorded in error.
