Nigeria has recorded 143 new cases of coronavirus, bringing the total to 54,008.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, made this known on Monday on its Twitter handle.
Plateau has the highest number for the day with 35 new cases.
It is followed by Kaduna which has 21 cases and Lagos occupying the third place with 19 cases.
