COVID-19: Nigeria records 138 new cases, lowest in months

Nigeria has recorded 138 new cases of coronavirus, the lowest in months.

The new cases bring to 53,865 the total number in the country.

The latest figures were announced on Sunday by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, on its Twitter handle.

Plateau State has continued to maintain its lead with 55 cases, while Lagos is second with 15 cases.

The tweets by NCDC read:
