COVID-19: Nigeria records 593 new cases, total now 50,488

Nigeria has recorded 593 new cases of coronavirus, increasing the total to 50,488.

Plateau State is top on the list with 186 cases while Lagos is second with 172 cases.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, released the figure on Wednesday on its Twitter handle.
