Reports that former governor of Oyo State, Abiola Ajimobi, is dead is not true.
This declaration was made on Thursday by Ajimobi’s media aide, Mr. Bolaji Tunji.
According to him, the reports that his principal was dead should be disregarded.
Tunji who reacted to the reports on Facebook said: “My attention has been drawn to the rumours circulating on the social media about my principal. Kindly disregard. We however continue to pray for him. Thank you all for the show of concern.”
Ajimobi is to have tested positive for coronavirus and has been on admission since June 2 at the First Cardiologist and Cardiovascular Consultants Hospital, Lagos.
