President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday released 19 names of those newly appointed to head some government agencies.
In the announcement which was made by the Permanent Secretary (General Services Office), Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Mr. Olusegun Adekunle, Buhari urged the new heads of agencies to be upright and diligent in the discharge of their duties.
The new heads of agencies are:
Okechukwu Ukwuoma as Director-General, National Centre for Technology Management (NACETEM) (for a second and final term of four years with effect from 22nd July, 2018); Victor Adebayo Adetiloye as Chief Medical Director (CMD), Obafemi Awolowo, University Teaching Hospital, Ile-Ife, (for second and final term of four years, with effect from 22nd September, 2018); Abdul-Jalil Suleiman as Director-General, Directorate of Technical Cooperation in Africa (DTCA) (with effect from 17th September, 2018); Bassey Emem Abasi as Chief Medical Director (CMD), University of Uyo Teaching Hospital (with effect, from 22nd September, 2018); Mojoyin Oluwa Dekalu-Thomas as Executive Director (Liability Management), Electricity Liability Management Company (NELMCO) and Chinedum Olisakwe-Lawrence as Executive Director (Corporate Services) (for an initial term of four years with effect from 20th September, 2018).
Junaid Abdullahi is the new Executive Secretary, Border Communities Development Agency (BDCA) (for an initial term of four years with effect from 22nd September, 2018); Folashodun Adebisi Shonubi, Deputy Governor, Central Bank of Nigeria (with effect from 17th October, 2018 for a period of five years in the first instance); Banire Muiz Adeyemi, Chairman, Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON) (with effect from 17th October, 2018 for a period of five years); Sule Yakubu Bassi, Secretary, Nigerian Diaspora Commission (with effect from 19th October, 2018 for an initial period of four years); Abba Ali, Member Non-Legal Practitioners, Federal Judiciary Service Commission and Mohammed Sagir, Member Non-Legal Practitioners, Federal Judiciary Service Commission.
Others are Olufemi Ajayi Oladunni, Director/CEO, National Centre for Agricultural Mechanisation (NCAM) ( initial term of four years with effect from 28th October, 2018); Clement Onyeabo Nze, Director-General, Nigeria Hydrological Services Agency (initial term of four years with effect from 28th October, 2018); Clement Isong, Member, Board of the Petroleum Product Pricing Regulatory Agency (PPPRA) (with effect from 28th October, 2018); David Isho Nyikyaa Secretary, National Salaries, Income, Wages, Commission, with effect from 1st November, 2018; Obinna Francis Ogwuegbu, Secretary, Special Investigation Panel for Recovery of Public Property (with effect from 2nd November, 2018); Akinrinola Samuel Akintunde, Provost, Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo State (for an initial term of four years with effect from 6th November, 2018); Emmanuel Adebayo Fasakin, Rector, Federal Polytechnic, Ile-Oluji, Ondo State (for a second and final term of four years with effect from 6th November, 2018) and Obadiah Simon Nkom Director-General/CEO, Nigeria Mining Cadastre Office (for an initial term of four years with effect from 12th January, 2019).
