Harmony Foam Limited based in Aba, Abia State, has donated 50 pieces of six-spring foams to Imo State Government to assist in the fight against coronavirus pandemic in the state.

The gesture, the company said, was part of its Corporate Social Responsibility extended to the sister state considering the long existing relationship between the company and the people of Imo State.

Receiving the items on behalf of the State Government, the Chief of Staff, Government House, Owerri, Nnamdi Anyaehie, commended Harmony Foams management for their concern and support to the poor and vulnerable ones, who are bearing the brunt of the COVID-19 scourge.

Anyaehie stressed that their donation was not only symbolic, considering the distance they were coming from, but apt because of the uniqueness of their relief item.

Anyaehie assured that the COVID-19 palliative would equally be distributed to the targeted group without delay and prayed God to replenish the purse of Harmony Foams Group a hundred fold.

Speaking earlier on behalf of Chief Henry Ikoh, the Chief Executive Officer of the company, Pastor Henry Ironcho, stated that Harmony Foams Ltd was duty bound to parley with Governor Uzodimma putting into focus, the long standing relationship with the governor and, especially “in these trying times of COVID-19 pandemic that has put the world on their toes scampering for solutions to the dreaded disease.”

Ironcho exlained that Harmony Foams Ltd was a believer in the ‘3R’ mantra of Governor Uzodimma’s administration anchored on Rehabilitation, Reconstruction and Recovery, assuring that each would go a long way in bringing sustainable development with accountability, transparency and honesty as watch word to Imo State.
