Two children were found to have drowned in Lagos on Saturday when swimming in a community beach.
The children who are 16 years old Dare and 15 years old Fawas, were resident at Epelemeje Orofun community, Akodo, Ibeju-Lekki.
The police, according to its spokesman in Lagos, said it had deployed its Marine Police Team to the area on search and rescue operations.
The police advised parents to monitor their children and ensure that they remained at home during the lockdown period.
