The Supreme Court has adjourned hearing in an application filed by former governor of Imo State, Emeka Ihedioha, who has sought a review of his sack from office.

The hearing will now hold on March 2, 2020, following a request to that effect by the counsel to Ihedioha, Mr. Kanu Agabi.

Agabi requested for a short adjournment to enable him file and receive all processes he needed to prove his case.

The Supreme Court, on January 14, sacked Ihedioha from office and declared Hope Uzodinma as the duly elected governor of Imo State.

Ihedioha is of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, while Uzodinma is of the All Progressives Congress.

Ihedioha has since filed an application for a review of the judgement, but Uzodinma asked the court to dismiss the applicaton.
