The Provost of Michael Otedola College of Primary Education, Noforija, Epe, Associate Professor Nosiru Onibon has emphasised that the college will not tolerate gangsterism and disobedience.
Onibon made the assertion during the matriculation ceremony for newly admitted NCE students of the college for 2019/2020 academic session held on Wednesday.
The provost in his speech urged the students not to look down at the admission offered them as admission process in the country had become quite tedious.
He admonished the students to obey all the rules and regulations guiding all aspects of their studentship.
He further stated that plans would be made to release the students handbook for them to be properly guided as ignorance would not be accepted as an excuse for any misdemeanour.
Onibon also expressed appreciation to the Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, for giving priority to Education as part of his administration’s agenda.
The provost, on behalf of the management and the college community felicitated with the matriculating students and urged them to do everything within their capabilities to make the college great.
