Convener of Revolution Now movement, Mr. Omoyele Sowore, will be arraigned by the Federal Government at a Federal High Court, Abuja, on Monday.

He is standing trial over a seven-count charge bordering on treasonable felony, money laundering and cyber crimes.

Sowore was arrested in August by security agents following the plan to carry out a protest said to have been designed to wrest power from the present government in the country over alleged incompetence.

The suit was instituted against Sowore by the Office of the Attorney General of the Federation.

The Federal High Court presided over by Justice Taiwo Taiwo had on Tuesday ordered the immediate release of Sowore by the Department of State Service, DSS.

The order was issued as the one by the DSS to detain Sowore for 45 days expired.

It was Sowore’s 52 days in detention as at the time the order for his release was issued.

However, the DSS has refused to release him even as he is going to be arraigned.
