BREAKING: Buhari inaugurates new ministers, announces their portfolios

President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday inaugurated new ministers just as he announced their portfolios.

The inauguration was held at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

In assigning the portfolios, the president retained the position of overseeing the Ministry of Petroleum.

He however announced former Governor of Bayelsa State, Timipre Sylva, as the Minister of State of the ministry.

Former super minister and former Governor of Lagos State, Babatunde Raji Fashola, lost the Ministry of Power which was under his control.

He is now Minister of Works and Housing.

Former Governor of Anambra State, Dr. Chris Ngige, has retained his position as Minister of Labour and Employment.

While former Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Godswill Akpabio was named the Minister of Niger Delta, Barrister Festus Keyamo was named the Minister of State, Niger Delta.
