Nigerian Afrobeats star, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has announced a three-night concert residency at the National Theatre, Iganmu, Lagos, in December.
Davido made the announcement on his verified Instagram page, @davido, on Friday, announcing “Oriadè: The Residency” for between December 17 and 19.
In the caption accompanying the announcement, the singer wrote: “LAGOS!!! We bringing it HOME! 15 years of madness and there’s nowhere I’d rather be.
“The world has shown us so much love,” he said in the Instagram post.
The announcement featured videos of clips of Davido performing before large audiences, alongside footage of Lagos and the National Theatre.
The residency will see the singer perform at the National Theatre for three consecutive nights, marking his 15-year journey in music.
