420 Nigerian returnees arrived Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, from Saudi Arabia on Wednesday.
Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, NiDCOM, made this known in a statement issued by its Head, Media, Public Relations and Protocols Unit, Mr Abdul-Rahman Balogun.
According to him, of the 420 returnees, 27 were children while 393 were adults.
The returnees, he said, were received by top government officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Presidential Task Force on COVID-19, NCDC and other relevant agencies.
The Director Consular and Legal Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Amb. Akinremi Bolaji, while welcoming them urged them to cooperate with the government.
He told them that provisions had been made for their basic needs during the mandatory 14 days isolation in line with the COVID-19 protocol.
