The Deputy National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Hon. Setonji Koshoedo, has congratulated the party’s National Working Committee under the Chairmanship of Dr. Iyorchia Ayu, the entire leadership of the party as well as members of the National Convention Planning Committee on the successful hosting of the special convention at which Alhaji Atiku Abubakar emerged as presidential candidate.
Koshoedo was particularly happy with the spirit of sportsmanship of co-contestants at the convention on the result, and urged them to continue to cooperate with the leadership of the party to see all through to the expected end.
While congratulating Alhaji Atiku Abubakar on his emergence as the party’s presidential candidate, the former member of the House of Representatives and grassroots politician also expressed joy to the people of Oyo State for the emergence of Engr. Seyi Makinde as the governorship candidate.
He also expressed deep appreciation to the people of Lagos State for voting Olajide Adediran, Jandor, as the flag bearer of the state for the gubernatorial elections.
Koshoedo added that the cooperation and steadfast support of all the members of the party were very important as the nation moves towards the general elections which, going by the mood of the nation, should be in favour of the party.
The party’s deputy scribe however did not just congratulate PDP faithful, but urged the leadership of the party to take necessary steps towards resolving any outstanding issues in the party across the country by sending powerful delegations to the states where such exists.
Koshoedo wished party men and women, youths and old, and all Nigerians the very best as they support Turakin-Adamawa, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar to make a success of the achievement of Saturday, May 28, 2022 complete.
