The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has expressed optimism that he will emerge victorious at the election.
“I’m very optimistic”, Atiku said while fielding questions from journalists after he cast his vote at Polling Unit 12, Ajiya in Adamawa.
The former vice president who expressed satisfaction with the exercise, however called for an improvement on the ballot papers.
“They (ballot papers) look so ordinary,” he said.
He also spoke on the cash swap policy of the federal government.
According to him, the exercise was worthwhile to the extent that it was to stop vote buying.
