The National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, has received another batch of 161 stranded Nigerians from Libya on Tuesday.
The returnees were received by the Co-ordinator, NEMA, Lagos Territorial Office, Alhaji Idris Abubakar Muhammed, at the Cargo Wing of Murtala Muhammed International Airport.
Other agencies and Edo State Task Force Against Human Trafficking officials were also on hand to receive the returnees.
The Al Buraq Air with registration number MVT UZ289/01.5A-DMG from Misrata City, a 200 kilometers distance from Tripoli, Libya arrived Nigeria at about 5:35 a.m.
At the end of profiling of the returnees, there were 48 adults female, one female child and seven infants female along 93 adults male, five male children and seven infants male among whom are three adults male with medical issues who were immediately evacuated to hospital for medical treatment.
