The grand patron of Yoruba Patriots Movement, YPM, Chief Pius Akinyelure, has urged Nigerians to anticipate an updated version of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s 2023 “Emi Lokan” Abeokuta declaration, emphasizing the Renewed Hope Agenda for Nigeria.
This remark was made during the launch of a new compendium at the University of Ibadan International Conference Centre, where iconic Nigerians contributed their insights as a roadmap to galvanize support for President Tinubu’s renewed hope and bid for a second term.
Chief Akinyelure suggested that the new “Emi Lokan” declaration should include a reassuring message: “Ise Oluwa ni, Ko le baje” (It is the divine work of God and it’s indestructible).
Professor Raphael Afolabi Akinfeleye, representing the YPM Grand Patron, urged the coalition to implement the recommendations of the Advocacy Summits on Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and the compendium.
He urged the coalition to add glamour to democracy, charging that “all political desperados and their satanic moves to scuttle President Tinubu’s re-election and renewed Hope for the nation should be suffocated.”
The Father of the Day at the occasion, Chief Shuaib Afolabi Oyedokun, challenged the coalition to step up its advocacy in enlightening the members of the Afenifere and patriotic sons and daughters of Yoruba on the benefits of aligning formidable forces with President Tinubu’s renewed Hope which according to him, had gradually been rekindling positivism for the country, particularly, for the South West.
Oyedokun charged those whom he described as enemies within to stop bearing needless grudges against the president.
He urged them to reawaken their conscience towards the realisation that President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope was divinely guided and urged them to support his re-election, stressing that the president’s noble mission was the magnet which drew him from PDP to APC .
The elder statesman advised clerics to stop the dispensing negative predictions and fake prophecies which he noted had done incalculable damage to the psyche of many Nigerians, most of whom, he added, were being misled in the choice of exercising their civic responsibilities.
Reviewing the compendium which was authored by the National Coordinator of YPM, Barrister Oladosu Oladipo, Professor Gbenga Onabamiro described the document as a living compass by which faithful implementation, the country would consolidate the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Tinubu into a complete rebirth of Nigeria.

The Ajiroba of Olubadan, Professor Soji Adejumo, who had been fully engrossed in this week’s activities of the Coronation of the new Olubadan, Oba Senator Rasheed Adewolu Ladoja, was at the venue to register his belief in the re-election of President Tinubu for a second term, arguing that he needed it for the consolidation of his agenda for the rapid economic transformation of the country.
“This book being launched as a blue print prosperity in the South West would equally unlock prosperity for the country generally,” he remarked.
Welcoming guests to the venue of the summit, Barrister Oladosu Oladipo opined that the movement was committed to deepening analysis of the Tinubu’s administration’s policies.
He stressed that the compendium was a roadmap to a sustainable Nigeria based on seven pillars which included peace, productivity, profitability, prosperity patriotism and the indoctrination of youths and women.
