The Nigerian Army, Airforce, Defence Headquarters and the Nigeria Police Force Headquarters are among government organisations whose electricity will be disconnected on Monday if they fail to pay their outstanding electricity bills.
The announcement was made on Saturday in a notice of disconnection released by Abuja Electricity Distribution Company.
Other organisations to be disconnected include

- Power House
- SGF House I
- Head of Service
- Fed. Min of Education
- Fed. Min of Women Affairs
- Fed. Min of Industry
- Fed. Min. of Trade
- Fed. Min. of Interior
- Fed. Min. of Water Resources
- National Stadium
- Goodluck Jonathan Athletics Hall
- Fed. Min. of Finance
- Fed Ministry of Education
- National Planning Com (Budget)
- Federal Ministry of Works
- FAAN Abuja
Recall that AEDC had earlier on Friday notified all its customers with outstanding bills to settle their accounts immediately to avoid service disruption on Monday, June 3, 2024.

It warned that customers yet to settle their outstanding bills within the next 72 hours would face disconnection of their electricity supply.
The warning was issued by its Head, Marketing and Corporate Communication, Adefisayo Akinsanya, who emphasized the importance of adhering to payment deadlines to ensure efficient and reliable service.
He said the timely payment of electricity bills remained crucial for the continued operation and enhancement of its infrastructure, “which is essential for delivering uninterrupted service to the community.”
