Tinubu appoints Bayo Onanuga, Delu Yakubu as aides

President Bola Tinubu has appointed two new aides in charge of ministerial coordination and strategy.

They are Mr. Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, and Ms. Delu Bulus Yakubu, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation.

The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr. Ajuri Ngelale, made this known in a statement he issued on Friday.

According to him, the action was part of efforts to prioritise effective and efficient working synergy between the Presidency and federal ministries.

He said the president had approved the appointments of professionals who had prior working experience within the architecture of the federal ministries they would be coordinating with, in addition to duties that would be carried out at the president’s discretion.

“The president wishes the new presidential aides well in the discharge of their duties,” he said.
