]]> Super Eagles’ player, Victor Moses, who on Wednesday declared that he would no longer play international football, has given the reasons for his decision.

He said the decision was to enable him focus on his club career and his young family.

He added too that quitting would allow the young ones in the Super Eagles the opportunity to move up.

He gave the reason on his twitter handle.

In the tweet, he said he wanted to “focus fully on club career and my young family, as well as to allow the next generation of Super Eagles stars the opportunity to step up and to flourish.”

Victor Moses debuted for Nigeria in 2012, and he featured in two World Cups, most recently in Russia.

In the tournament held in Russia, he scored from the spot against Argentina.

He was a key member of the Super Eagles’ side that won the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations.

Moses played 38 games for Nigeria and scored 12 goals.
