As Dwallnet Technologies marks its sixth anniversary on August 21, 2026, the technology and digital skills organization is reaffirming its commitment to empowering young people, supporting innovation and contributing to Nigeria’s digital transformation.

Six years is more than a milestone. It is a reflection of purpose, resilience, growth and the determination to make a meaningful difference in the lives of people and communities.

For Dwallnet Technologies, reaching its sixth anniversary represents another important chapter in a journey driven by one central belief: that access to digital knowledge, technology and the right opportunities can transform individuals, communities and nations.

From Nigeria, Dwallnet has continued to position itself as a platform where young people, students, entrepreneurs and aspiring professionals can acquire practical digital skills that enable them to participate meaningfully in the modern economy.

A Mission Beyond Technology

Dwallnet Technologies was established with a mission that extends beyond simply teaching people how to use computers or develop websites.

Its broader mission is to bridge the digital skills gap, empower young people with practical knowledge, encourage entrepreneurship and create pathways through which individuals can use technology to improve their economic and social circumstances.

In a rapidly changing world where technology continues to influence education, business, communication, employment and virtually every sector of society, Dwallnet believes that digital literacy should not be a privilege reserved for a few.

The organization is committed to making technology education more accessible and practical, particularly for young Nigerians who are seeking opportunities to build sustainable careers in the digital economy.

Through its training initiatives, Dwallnet has exposed learners to areas including web development, data analysis, WordPress and content management systems, graphics design, computer fundamentals, digital skills, cybersecurity and other technology-related fields.

The objective is not merely to produce people who can obtain certificates, but individuals who can solve problems, create value and build opportunities for themselves and others.

Preparing Nigerian Youths for the Future

Nigeria has one of the world’s largest and most dynamic youth populations. This presents both a significant opportunity and a responsibility.

For Dwallnet, youth empowerment is therefore not a side project—it is central to its vision.

The organization envisions a Nigeria where young people are equipped with the skills, confidence and entrepreneurial mindset required to compete not only within their communities but also in the global digital marketplace.

A young person who learns web development can build websites for businesses. A person who acquires data analysis skills can support organizations in making better decisions. Someone trained in graphics design can serve clients locally or internationally. A digital entrepreneur can build a business that creates employment for others.

This is the kind of multiplier effect Dwallnet seeks to encourage.

Its vision is to help create a generation of Nigerians who are not only searching for employment but are also capable of creating solutions, building businesses, freelancing, working remotely and contributing to the development of their communities.

Dwallnet Technologies training session

Supporting NYSC and Young Nigerians

One of the areas where Dwallnet has sought to make a direct impact is through its engagement with young people participating in the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).

NYSC represents an important period in the lives of many Nigerian graduates—a period when young people are exposed to new communities, professional experiences and opportunities for personal development.

Dwallnet recognizes the potential within this period and has supported and interacted with corps members by providing opportunities for digital learning, practical exposure, professional development and technology-related capacity building.

For many young graduates, acquiring an additional practical skill can make a significant difference after their service year.

Dwallnet’s engagement with corps members is therefore built around the idea that NYSC should not only be a period of national service, but also an opportunity for young Nigerians to develop skills that can strengthen their future career and entrepreneurial prospects.

The organization believes that empowering one corps member with a valuable digital skill can potentially influence an entire community when that individual returns home and begins applying or sharing the knowledge acquired.

Impacting the Communities Around Us

Dwallnet’s commitment to empowerment extends beyond formal training programmes.

The organization recognizes that its success should be measured not only by the number of people trained, but also by the positive changes created within the communities where it operates.

Through interactions with students, graduates, young entrepreneurs, aspiring professionals and other members of the community, Dwallnet has continued to promote the importance of digital literacy and technology-driven entrepreneurship.

The organization has also encouraged young people to look beyond traditional career paths and consider the opportunities presented by the internet and the global digital economy.

For a young person in a local Nigerian community, the world can sometimes appear geographically distant. Technology, however, has changed that reality.

With the right skills, a young Nigerian can design for a client in another city, build a website for an international organization, analyze data for a company, create digital content, develop software or establish an online business.

Dwallnet seeks to make that possibility more understandable and more achievable.

Dwallnet in partnership with NYSC

From Nigeria to Africa and the World

Dwallnet’s vision is not limited to Nigeria.

Africa is experiencing a rapid digital transformation, and the continent’s young population represents one of its greatest assets. However, the benefits of technological advancement will depend largely on whether young Africans have access to the knowledge and skills required to participate in the digital economy.

Dwallnet therefore sees its long-term role as contributing to a broader African digital skills ecosystem.

The organization envisions a future where young people across Africa can connect, learn, collaborate, create businesses and compete globally without being limited by geographical boundaries.

Its ambition is to grow from a technology and training organization serving its immediate environment into a platform whose impact can extend across Nigeria, Africa and eventually other parts of the world.

The vision is simple but ambitious: to contribute to a world where technology becomes a tool for empowerment, opportunity and positive transformation.

The CEO’s Vision for the Future

Speaking on the sixth anniversary and the road ahead, Adegboyega Ademola, Chief Executive Officer of Dwallnet Technologies, emphasized that the organization’s greatest ambition is not simply to grow as a technology company, but to grow its impact on people.

According to him, the future of Dwallnet will be defined by its ability to empower more people with the knowledge and opportunities needed to succeed in an increasingly digital world.

“Our vision goes beyond building a successful technology organization. We want Dwallnet to become a platform that changes lives by giving people access to knowledge, digital skills and opportunities. We want a young person in Nigeria to understand that where they come from does not have to determine how far they can go in the digital world.”

Ademola further emphasized the importance of preparing young Nigerians and Africans for the rapid changes taking place in technology, particularly with the growth of artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies.

“The world is changing rapidly. Artificial intelligence, automation and digital transformation are redefining the way people work and do business. We cannot afford to leave our young people behind. We must equip them today for the opportunities that will exist tomorrow.”

He explained that Dwallnet’s long-term ambition is to expand its reach while remaining firmly connected to its community roots.

“We started with the people around us, but our vision has always been bigger than our immediate environment. We want to take what we have learned and built here to other communities, other parts of Nigeria, across Africa and eventually to the rest of the world.”

According to the Dwallnet CEO, the organization also believes that technology should be used to solve real problems rather than simply being celebrated for its sophistication.

“Technology becomes meaningful when it improves people’s lives. Our goal is to encourage young people not only to learn technology but to use what they learn to create businesses, solve problems, support their communities and create opportunities for others.”

He also highlighted the importance of partnerships with institutions, organizations and programmes such as NYSC in achieving the organization’s broader youth empowerment objectives.

“We cannot do this alone. The future we are working toward requires collaboration. We want to work with educational institutions, government agencies, private organizations, NYSC, communities and other stakeholders who share the belief that investing in people is investing in the future of Nigeria and Africa.”

Technology as a Tool for Economic Empowerment

As conversations around unemployment, underemployment and economic challenges continue across Africa, Dwallnet believes technology should be part of the solution.

The organization encourages young people to see digital skills not simply as academic qualifications but as economic tools.

Technology can enable people to start small businesses, provide professional services, work remotely, access global markets and develop innovative solutions to local problems.

This philosophy is particularly important in an era where artificial intelligence, automation, cloud computing, digital commerce and other emerging technologies are rapidly changing the nature of work.

Dwallnet believes that Nigeria and Africa must not merely consume technology created elsewhere. The continent must also produce developers, designers, analysts, entrepreneurs, innovators, educators and technology leaders capable of building solutions for African challenges and competing on the global stage.

Looking Beyond the Sixth Anniversary

As Dwallnet Technologies celebrates six years, the organization recognizes that the journey is still at an early stage.

The sixth anniversary is therefore not being viewed as the conclusion of a journey, but as a platform for a greater future.

Dwallnet intends to continue expanding its training programmes, strengthening its community engagement, supporting young people and exploring new ways technology can be used to create opportunities.

Its future ambitions include building stronger partnerships, expanding access to technology education, supporting entrepreneurship and creating platforms that allow more young people to learn, innovate and connect with opportunities.

The organization understands that no single institution can solve Nigeria’s youth unemployment or digital skills challenges alone. It will require collaboration between government, educational institutions, private organizations, development partners, technology companies and communities.

Dwallnet is positioning itself to be part of that collective effort.

Six Years of Purpose, A Future of Possibilities

Six years after its journey began, Dwallnet Technologies continues to hold firmly to the belief that when people are given knowledge, opportunity and the right environment, they can transform their own lives and contribute to transforming society.

Its story is ultimately not just about technology.

It is about the student who discovers a new career path.

It is about the graduate who acquires a practical skill before entering the labour market.

It is about the corps member who discovers that digital knowledge can become an economic opportunity.

It is about the young entrepreneur who uses technology to grow a business.

It is about communities becoming more digitally aware.

And it is about a generation of Nigerians and Africans being prepared to participate confidently in the global economy.

As Dwallnet Technologies marks six years, its message remains forward-looking:

The future belongs to those who are prepared for it.

And Dwallnet intends to continue playing its part in preparing Nigeria’s young people—and ultimately young people across Africa and the world—for that future.

Six years of impact. Six years of learning. Six years of empowerment. Six years of building toward a digitally empowered future.
