Busola Tejumola, Executive Head, General Entertainment, MultiChoice Group, made the announcement about the upcoming season at a news conference on Wednesday in Lagos.

The new season is scheduled to premiere over two nights on Saturday, July 26, and Sunday, July 27.

Tejumola said that the new season, which promises 10 weeks of captivating drama, strategic game play, and unparalleled entertainment, would culminate in the grand finale on October 5.

“Today, we are not just announcing another season, we are celebrating a legacy.

“While the official theme for Season 10 will be unveiled on the premiere night, viewers can anticipate a fresh wave of excitement.

“The beloved Ebuka Obi-Uchendu is returning as host, guiding viewers through every twist and turn of the season.

“This 10th season also has the highest prize at stake – valued at a whopping N150 million.”

Tejumola added that BBNaija had become more than just a television show.

“It is a living, breathing cultural force.

“It has given voice to a new generation of talent, creatives, entertainers, and the influencer community.

“It has refined what homegrown entertainment can achieve when it is done at scale with intention and ambition.

“With a two-night opening live show for Big Brother Naija Season 10, the season is poised to build upon the legacy of its predecessors,” Tejumola said.

This year’s edition of the show was preceded by a meticulous audition process designed to unearth the most engaging and dynamic personalities from across Nigeria.

Audition registrations were held from May 3 to May 7,  and saw an overwhelming response, followed by rigorous in-person auditions conducted in Lagos, Abuja, and Enugu from May 16 to May 18.

The reality TV star husband, Chinonso, with a heart of gratitude, took to his Instagram page to announce the birth of their child as he disclosed the gender of the child.

He described the birth of their baby as the best way to start the new month.

“Thank you Jesus. It is a baby boy. What a best way to start the month. God bless you, my queen. I love you forever, @thechomzy,” he wrote.

The former Big Brother Naija ‘Level Up’ reality show housemate, earlier spoke on being passionate in helping people, and how she intended to venture into a project, ‘Feed the street with Chomzy’.

Pere was declared winner as he was the fastest in the Iron Fisher challenge and he would be given the brand new car upon completion of the show.

At present, six housemates are on the show; they are Cross, Pere, Angel, Liquorose, Whitemoney and Emmanuel.

The television reality show commenced July 24, 2021 and 26 housemates participated in the Shine Ya Eye, Season 6 edition.

The winner of the N90 million grand prize will be announced October  3 during the grand finale ceremony.
