Ten students will be beneficiaries at this year’s edition of the Seyi Akinwunmi Charity Foundation billed to take place on December 29 in Lagos.
The 2024 edition, which is the eleventh is expected to attract about 200 players and 30 coaches.
There are various categories for the boys and girls categories.
There will also be showcasing of indirect kicks, penalty kicks and much more by the U-13 and U-16 boys and girls.
The chairman of the organising committee, Dotun Coker, said 80 players and 16 officials would compete in the U-13 Boys category just as 40 players, eight officials will vie for honours in the U-15 Girls category.

Coker also stated that the main match of the day would be the U-13 encounter between Team Lagos and U-13 Ajegunle United.
A total of 40 players and six officials are involved in the encounter.
“We are getting set to close in on all logistics and ensure that all the participants have a great time on December 29th. This is an event many youths and parents look up to in Lagos to be among the beneficiaries.
“The participants will also be fed on the final day just as we will also have some side attractions to make the day a glamorous event,” Coker added.
