With the support of the generality of the people, the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, in Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, will transform Lagos State into a mega city that will be loved by all.
This is the assurance given by the Co-ordinator of Sanwaolu Campaign Group in Ojokoro Local Government Development Area, LCDA, Oladipupo Okeyomi, popularly referred to as Carry Go.
The politician, who spoke on an MITV programme, WAZOBIA Plus, on Thursday, said Sanwo-Olu would carry on from where the incumbent, Governor Akinwunmi Ambode will stop.
Okeyomi who spoke in Yoruba said: “Let all be united in giving support to Sanwo-Olu to emerge the governor of Lagos State. We can all testify to the wonderful work being carried out by Governor Akinwunmi Ambode. When Sanwo-Olu takes over, he would do a lot better and make Lagos State a better place for everyone.”
Promising the votes of the people in Ojokoro area for Sanwo-Olu in the 2019 election, Okeyomi said he had, along with his associates, embarked on serious mobilisation of the people.
According to him, the campaign committee had embarked on enlightenment programmes and everyone in the area was already being sensitized.
He said the unit designed for the education of voters had been doing well by reaching out to the members of the public irrespective of their status or occupation.
Okeyomi said they had also been warning youths to avoid being used as political thugs.
According to the politician, Sanwo-Olu had also warned that he wanted a peaceful election, hence none of his supporters should be involved in any form of violence.
