Lagos State Police Command has invited all candidates of Lagos State origin, who successfully completed the online constables recruitment registration into the Nigeria Police Force to proceed for physical and credential screening.
The exercises are scheduled to hold between August 24, 2020 and September 6, 2020, at Police College, Ikeja, Lagos.
The announcement was made by the spokesman of the command, SP Bala Elkana, in a statement made available to our correspondent.
The statement announcing the physical and credential screening reads in part:
“Applicants are to appear at the screening venue in their clean white T-shirts and shorts with the following mandatory basic requirements:
- National Identity Number (NIN);
- Original and duplicate copies of credentials – O’ Level Result(s), Certificate of Origin and Birth Certificate/Declaration of Age – neatly arranged in two white flat files with recent passport photographs attached;
iii. Printout of application submission confirmation page
- Duly completed Guarantor’s form
*Any candidate who fails to present (i –iv) above, will not be considered for the screening.*
“The screening and other activities touching on the recruitment exercise will be carried out in strict compliance with the COVID-19 prevention protocols. No applicant will be admitted into the venue without a face mask.
“The Commissioner of Police Lagos State, CP Hakeem Odumosu psc reiterates that the recruitment exercise is *absolutely free of charge*. Applicants are advised to be careful of online impostors, scammers and other criminal elements who might want to take advantage of the recruitment process to dupe innocent applicants. The CP warns that anyone found wanting will be arrested and prosecuted.
