Oyo bandits attacks: Slain Teacher Adegboye for burial Friday

The remains of Teacher Adesiyan Joel Adegboye will be interred on Friday.

Adegboye was the teacher killed by bandits during the attacks on schools in Ahoro-Esinele, Oriire local government area of Ogbomoso, Oyo state, last Friday.

During the attacks, some students and teachers, including the principal, Mrs Rachael Alamu, were abducted and have since remained in captivity.

One of the teachers in captivity, Mr. Michael Oyedokun, was recently killed by the bandits and the video of his gruesome murder released.

In a programme of events made available to FrontPage on Thursday, the burial service for Adegboye will hold at Ayegun Baptist Church, Ogbomosho at 11.00 a.m.

The interment will hold at his residence at Owolake area of Ogbomoso on the same day.

Adegboyeg was 49 years old when he was killed by the bandits.
