Dr. Paul Akintelure, a governorship aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Ondo State, is dead.
Akintelure died in the early hours of Tuesday in Lagos after a brief illness.
Akintelure, a medical doctor, hailed from Igbotako in Okitipupa local government area of the state.

One of Akintelure’s family member who simply identified himself as Akintunde, confirmed on Tuesday in Okitipupa that the politician died in Lagos after a brief illness.
“We learnt he died this morning in Lagos after a brief illness,” he said.
Akintelure was the running mate to the late former governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, during the 2012 governorship election on the platform of the defunct Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN.
