The Director General of the National Youth Service Corps Brig. Gen. Yushau Ahmed has charged corps members to be careful on the issue related to their safety.
The Director General gave the charge on Sunday while addressing the 2024 batch A stream 1 Corps Members at the NYSC orientation camp, Yikpata, Kwara State.
He said the scheme had put everything in place to ensure the safety of the corps members.
He, however, enjoined them to make conscious effort on the security of their lives and property.

The NYSC helmsman who warned them against travelling at night, also advised them not to engage in anything that could expose them to danger.
Meanwhile, the State Coordinator of NYSC, Kwara State, Mr. Onifade Olaoluwa, in his welcome address appreciated the Director General for choosing the camp as start up point for his tour.
He said his visit had boosted the morale of the corps members and all camp participants.
On the entourage of the Director General are Director of Press and Public Relations Units, Mr. Eddy Megwa, the Director of Special Duty, Mrs. Bona Fasakin, amongst others.
