The Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, on Friday unveiled the North-East Compressed Natural Gas, CNG, buses under the federal government initiative to boost transportation in the country.

Speaking at the inauguration in Yola, Joe Ajaero, NLC’s president, said that 10 CNG buses were allocated for the region to ease transportation.

He appealed to Adamawa government to complement the effort of the federal government by establishing re-filling stations for the CNG buses in the state for the benefits of the people.

He also urged the federal government to purchase more buses to ease challenges in transportation sector as 10 buses were not enough for the region.

Ajaero commended Adamawa government for the cordial relationship with the NLC and his flight for the civil servant.

Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa commended federal government for providing the CNG buses for the region and called for more.
