The Naira on Tuesday recovered from a two-day loss, appreciating at the official market to close trading at N1,382.63 against the U.S. dollar.
According to data released on the official website of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, the Naira gained N5.75, representing a 0.4 per cent increase compared to Monday, when the local currency traded at N1,388.38 to the dollar following resumption from the Sallah break.
The Naira, which had been on a steady appreciation, recorded its first decline on Wednesday, March 18, before the Sallah break, when it traded at N1,353.90 per dollar.
