The Naira on Friday closed the week stronger, further appreciating against the U.S. dollar at the official market to trade at N1,386.55.
According to data released on the official website of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, the Naira gained N10.43.
This represents a 0.7 per cent gain when compared to Thursday when it traded at N1,396.99 to a dollar.
The Naira has remained relatively stable due to CBN reforms, experiencing weeklong appreciation.
On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday the local currency traded at N1,418.95; N1,401.22 and N1,400.47 respectively.
