The Governing Council of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta has approved the appointment of Mrs. Folasade Ajewole Madariola, as the eighth Bursar of the polytechnic.
The appointment was announced in a statement issued on Tuesday by the Head, Public Relations and Protocol of MAPOLY, Mr. ‘Yemi Ajibola.
Her appointment, he said, was conveyed in a letter signed by the Chairman, Governing Council, Emeritus Prof. Kamaldeen Balogun, which takes effect from Tuesday, September 10, 2024 for a single non-renewable term of five years.
Madariola became the second female eighth bursar of the polytechnic after the expiration of the tenure of the erstwhile Bursar, Mr Fatai Yekini, on Monday, September 9, 2024.

She joined the service of the polytechnic as an Accountant II in 1999 and rose through the ranks.
Until her appointment, she was a Chief Accountant in the Bursary Department, a post she held since 2017.
Madariola, an Alumna of Ogun State Polytechnic (now Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta) from the Department of Accountancy is also a First Class graduate (B.Sc Accounting) of Crescent University.
She attended Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, Oyo State for a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, MBA (specialization in finance).
She is a Fellow, Institute of Chartered Accountant (FCA), an Associate Chartered Institute of Taxation (ACIT) and a Member, of Women in Technical Education (WITED).
She has five academic/scholarly publications with several conference papers to her credit.
While presenting her letter of appointment on behalf of the Governing Council, the Rector, Dr. Adeoye Odedeji, in the presence of the Deputy Rector, Dr. (Mrs.) Yetunde Lanre-Iyanda, congratulated the new bursar and wished her a successful tenure.
Madariola is happily married and blessed with children.
