Kwara United Football Club, on Sunday, held Shooting Stars Sports Club to a goalless draw in a Match Day 34 fixture of the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL.
The result ended Shooting Stars’ four-match home winning streak.
The encounter, played at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba, Ibadan, was characterised by physical play, resilience and strong fighting spirit from both sides.
In the ongoing 2025/2026 NPFL season, Shooting Stars have recorded 15 wins, six draws and 13 losses, placing them fifth on the 20-team table with 51 points from 34 matches.
The Ibadan side have been impressive at home, posting 13 wins, three draws and one loss, but have struggled on the road with two wins, three draws and 12 losses.
They have scored 35 goals so far this season.
Kwara United, on their part, have recorded 11 wins, 10 draws and 13 losses, placing them 16th on the table with 40 points from 34 matches.
Their home form stands at 10 wins, five draws and two losses, while their away performance remains poor with one win, five draws and 11 losses.
The team have scored 29 goals this season.
