JUST IN: Jandor announces defection to APC, gives reason

A former governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Lagos State, Abdul-Azeez Adediran, popularly known as Jandor, has joined the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.

Jandor who announced his defection to the ruling party on Monday in Lagos, said the APC was a better party.

His words: “We have decided to return to the All Progressives Congress, APC.”

He added: “Before you are quick to remind me of the reasons why I dumped APC, I want to say that there is a Yoruba adage that says, if a woman has not tried two husbands, she would not know which one is better.”

Recall that he left the PDP on March 3, 2025 over alleged anti-party activities of some leaders of the party.

After leaving the PDP, he met with President Bola Tinubu, former vice president, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, and some top politicians.
